Due to an increased demand in Rapid Antigen Testing (RATs), general practices are doing everything they can to support patients during these uncertain times.

Supervised RATs from general practices will only be made available for patients who fit the following criteria:

• Symptomatic (cough, sore throat, fever, running nose, abdominal pain)
• Awaiting PCR test results and now getting sicker/worst

As practices are doing everything they can to meet the demand for RATs in the midst of this global pandemic, please call ahead to check available stock levels.

If you require a RAT test for a self-test and/or close contact - please go to your nearest community testing centre.

You can get a free supervised RAT from a participating community pharmacy if:

• You are asymptomatic, unvaccinated, aged 12 years and 3 months or over and travelling domestically with a transport company that requires testing of unvaccinated individuals
• You are asymptomatic, unvaccinated and attending a court of law.
