Leading healthcare provider, ProCare, is delighted to announce the appointment of Rachel Boase as its new Chief Financial Officer.
Rachel has a strong background in finance and senior leadership positions both in New Zealand and internationally. She has been part of the ProCare team for five years as Head of Finance and has played a crucial role during key moments of the business including purchasing general practices under the Elevate programme, and investing in innovation and joint ventures to support healthcare practices and our communities. Prior to that, she held senior finance roles with ITV in the UK and Sydney.
Bindi Norwell, Group Chief Executive at ProCare, says: “Rachel has been an asset to the ProCare whānau since she joined us in 2018, and we are thrilled to have someone of her calibre step into the position of CFO.
“We are always delighted to promote from within when we already have the talent we’re looking for in the building. Rachel knows ProCare inside and out and has played a key role in the team during a very busy period in the business. I look forward to her leadership and guidance going forward,” concludes Norwell.
Commenting on her appointment, Rachel says, “I am very excited to continue to work with the ProCare team in this new capacity. It’s a very rewarding organisation to be a part of (focusing on health outcomes for New Zealanders) and I hope to play a key role in its success moving forward.”
This change was effective from 11 December 2023.
