Leading healthcare provider, ProCare, has today announced the current Co-operative Board Chair, Dr Harley Aish, is stepping down after eight years as Chair. Taking over his role as Chair is Dr Craig King, effective immediately.
Reflecting on his time as Chair, Dr Harley Aish says, “It has been a privilege to serve as the ProCare Co-operative Board Chair for the last eight years. I want to say a huge thank you to my fellow Board members, to Bindi and her executive team, and of course to the wider ProCare team for being wonderful to work alongside.
“Who would have thought when I started in the role eight years ago that three of my years as Chair would have seen me dealing with a global pandemic and more recently dealing with the most significant health reforms of a generation.”
While Dr Aish is stepping down as Board Chair, he will remain on the board for an additional 12 months.
Dr Aish comments, “To ease the succession of Craig into the role of Chair, the ProCare Board have made the decision for me to step down as Chair now and provide support and continuity to Craig and the Board during this transition. I will remain on the Board until my term ends in November 2023.”
“Dr Craig King has been on the Board for seven years now and knows the business inside out. He has made fantastic contributions during this time, and I look forward to working with him in his new role,” concludes Aish.
